Francisco Araos

Francisco Araos is an Associate Professor at the Universidad de Los Lagos, a Researcher at the Centro de Estudios de Desarrollo Regional y de Políticas Públicas (CEDER-ULAGOS), and a professor of Anthropology.

His research interests include environmental anthropology, marine conservation, global change, and citizen science.

Francisco currently leads the ULAGOS Citizen Science Lab and CONICYT/FONDECYT Project N. 11180066 “ECMPOS: conservationist assemblages for the protection of places of life at the coastal zone of Region of Los Lagos”.
