A presentation by Leadership for the Ecozoic L4E’s Josh Sterlin
Date: Wednesday, September 2nd
Time: 12pm ET

Josh's work asks the question: what happens to a group of people, their culture, their senses, and even their ontological systems, when they consciously attempt to 'connect to nature'? By using the Wilderness Awareness School, at which he was both student and teacher, as an ethnographic entry point into a larger subculture Josh is dubbing 'cultural rewilding', he seeks to explore the ways in which academic knowledge, citizen science, and nature connective practices might all see each other, and work together or against each other to bring humans deeper into relation with the more-than-human world.
